Get ready for an hour and a half of deadly drama on “American Horror Story: Hotel.” The FX miniseries is airing its extended fall finale on Wednesday, Dec. 16 – and fans may be bidding adieu to one of the Hotel Cortez residents.
Episode 10, titled “She Gets Revenge,” marks the final episode of 2016. According to the synopsis, the fall finale will find Alex (Chlo ë Sevigny) reteaming with her estranged husband, John (Wes Bentley), to “contain an outbreak.” While the episode description doesn’t exactly say what the outbreak is, the promo video seems to hint that Alex may be enlisting John’s help to deal with the children who are infected with the ancient virus.
Speaking of children, The Countess (Lady Gaga) will have to figure out what she wants to do with Will Drake’s (Cheyenne Jackson) son, Lachlan (Lyric Lennon). The preview video shows her contemplating making Lachlan a “blood relative.” And the ghost of Will Drake looks extremely frightened of the idea as he watches his deadly bride.
But will The Countess even be around long enough to transform her new stepson? She sure seems to be racking up a long list of enemies. Even Liz Taylor (Denis O’Hare) is no longer on Team Countess. In the promo, the Hotel Cortez bartender is close to killing herself because of her boss. However, Iris (Kathy Bates) warns her that she has “unfinished business still left on her plate” -- and that means that if she dies within the walls of the hotel, she’ll be forced to come back and haunt it like the others.
It looks like Natasha (Alexandra Daddario) might be The Countess’ biggest problem though. Now that she knows Rudolph (Finn Wittrock) is alive and well, The Countess wants him for herself -- and unfortunately Natasha is not part of her happy ending. But Natasha is onto her former lover and it doesn’t appear like she’s ready to go out without a fight.
