Brace yourselves, “American Horror Story” fans, because on Wednesday, the Ten Commandments Killer will finally be revealed. (Seriously, it’s about time!) And according to reports, the unveiling of who the gruesome murderer is will only be the first of many shocking scenes that occur throughout Season 5, episode 8 of “Hotel.”

E! Online reported that after audiences discover which character has been behind all the jaw-dropping deaths -- which will take place within the first eight minutes of the episode -- they'll watch as the forthcoming installment explains how each “Hotel” episode is relative to another. Yep, apparently all the strange and seemingly independent moments that have transpired throughout Season 5 are somehow connected. (Here’s hoping we finally find out what happened to those random, blood-sucking elementary school kids!)

It was revealed that episode 8 will also explain the backstory behind the killer, elaborating what drove the deeply disturbed character to resort to killing -- with a biblical twist. This will give viewers context behind all the religious-inspired deaths.

E! Online added that audiences will also learn the real reason why The Countess (Lady Gaga) took Holden (Lennon Henry). She previously revealed to Alex (Chloe Sevigny) that she only takes children who are neglected (like Holden was by his father) -- but that will turn out to be a lie. We’ve theorized that the reason The Countess kidnapped the little blonde boy was because she could sense John (Wes Bentley) was a dark soul, one capable of committing heinous crimes ... just like the Ten Commandments Killer.

Who do you think is the Ten Commandments Killer? Is it possible John has been hunting down himself throughout Season 5 of “American Horror Story: Hotel”? Sound off in the comments section below and don’t forget to tune in to “AHS: Hotel” on Wednesday at 10 p.m. EST on FX.
