American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy has begun to tease fans about what they can expect for season 2 of the FX hit when it debuts in the Fall of 2012.

While his answer was a simple yes, during an interview on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, fans can be reassured that Golden Globe winner Jessica Lange will be returning for a horrifying second season.

Jessica Lange, who played Constance Langdon in the 12 episode series, won a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. The actress also won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series.

At the end of season one, Murphy shocked fans by informing them that if any cast returns, they will be different characters. With Lange confirmed, but her character still a mystery, Ryan Murphy revealed that four other cast members from the first season are also in talks to return. According to TVLine.com, these four cast members do not include the Harmon family.

The finale of season one had Murphy promising fans that the L.A. Murder House story would be a thing of the past in season 2. Ryan Murphy kept his word on Watch What Happens Live, when he said that season 2 of American Horror Story will take place in a horror institution on the East Coast.

For those who can't wait to see what type of American Horror Story Murphy will create next, they can return to watching the last season for hints. Ryan Murphy told EW in December that the secret to season 2 could be found in the final three episodes of season one. EW narrowed it down for Horror fans to the Birth episode. Go through it frame by frame, Murphy told EW. I planted it in there. I will never reveal it.
