‘American Horror Story’ Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 9 Synopsis Leaks Online; What Will Happen In ‘Head’? [PHOTOS]

“American Horror Story” delivered some chilling storylines in episode 8, and somehow things will continue to get worse for the young witches at the Coven. A synopsis for episode 9, “Head,” has leaked online, and the ladies at Miss Robichaux’s must band together against a new enemy.

The episode, which will air next Wednesday, will feature the return of Hank and a flashback to reveal a little about his past. The scene will be from 1991, when a young Hank was out hunting with his father and has a “traumatic experience.” What that experience is remains to be seen, but in modern day, “American Horror Story” viewers will get to see Hank interact with his father again … and it’s definitely a bit of a shocker. It turns out that Hank’s father is a high-powered CEO and is the person responsible for setting him on “his life’s dark path.” But that’s not all. While meeting with his father, Hank will learn the “truth behind Cordelia’s blinding.”

Meanwhile the Coven will be figuring out how to combat their new enemy – the witch hunter. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and Fiona will be forced to turn to Marie Laveau for help. Fiona suggests an alliance between Marie Laveua’s voodoo tribe and the Coven to fight their common enemy, but what Fiona doesn’t realize is that Marie’s the one who hired Hank in the first place.

And unfortunately Hank and Marie aren’t Fiona’s only problems. With Myrtle back from beyond the grave, Cordelia will be forced to “sternly broker a peace” between Fiona and Myrtle. But Myrtle has changed since being burned alive at the stake, and it sounds as if those that crossed her will regret it.

What about Luke and Nan? Joan may be back from the dead thanks to Misty Day, but she still doesn’t care for her neighbors. When Nan goes against Joan and visits Luke, she’ll try to help the pair with her powers of clairvoyance … but Luke will reveal a “disturbing truth from his family’s past.”

“American Horror Story: Coven” fans can also look forward to:

-Queenie giving Madame LaLaurie an education in black history.

-Misty learning the witch ropes at Miss Robichaux’s Academy.

-Hank returning to beg Cordelia for forgiveness.

-Marie Laveau giving Hank an ultimatum that forces him to take “extreme measures.”
