‘American Horror Story’ Season 3 Spoilers: Official Promo Poster Released; Does 'Coven' Photo Hint At Love Triangle For Taissa Farmiga, Evan Peters And Emma Roberts?

Let the countdown to season 3 of “American Horror Story” begin! The FX miniseries has released the official promo poster for “Coven” and it is definitely jaw-dropping and ssssshocking.

The photo for the highly anticipated third season was released on Tuesday, Sept. 3, on the “American Horror Story” Facebook page. Although the series has been dropping some teasing words in posts over the past few weeks, they decided to keep the key art poster short and simple: #AmericanHorrorStory #Coven.

The promo poster features three women in dark lipstick, mouths open, and coming out of their mouths is a white snake that has its tongue out.

Definitely a provocative shot, it has left fans of the show excited and curious about what the Wednesday, Oct. 9, premiere will bring … and one of the theories is a juicy love triangle!

“Coven” will reunite on-screen lovers Evan Peters and Taissa Farmiga. The two shared awesome chemistry in the “L.A. Murder House,” and viewers are dying to know if the pair will ignite a flame once again … especially with Peters real life girlfriend Emma Roberts joining the cast.

“American Horror Story” co-creator Ryan Murphy previously teased that season 3 will have a star-crossed lovers element. So, will the star-crossed lovers be Taissa Farmiga and Evan Peters?

According to E! Online, they’re “betting” on Farmiga and Peters having some sort of relationship, but exactly what kind of relationship will it be? The site also suggests there may be another factor thrown into the mix. “We think Evan’s character will be involved with his real-life girlfriend Emma Roberts' character,” E! dished. “Maybe a love triangle is brewing?”
