Finally, the first official trailer for “American Horror Story: Freak Show” has been released online. And you can bet the 10-second Season 4 promo video gave us the chills!

Ryan Murphy, creator of the spooky FX anthology, unveiled the creepy trailer for the upcoming season on Twitter Wednesday, Aug. 20. And although the promo is significantly shorter than fan-made video titled “Fallen Angel,” which went viral back in July, it’s just as equally as disturbing.

During the trailer “Admit One” viewers can see a crusty, four-fingered hand with long, jagged nails slowly revealing to fans their very own ticket to “American Horror Story: Freak Show” as carnival-esque music plays in the background.

But just as the promo has us in the palm of it’s hand, the creature quickly pulls back its arm in the typical fast-paced style one can usually see in Murphy’s work.

Many have questioned what the creature in the promo video was. Could it be a bird claw or a distorted hand? It’s hard to say. But thus far, we know that the “American Horror Story: Freak Show” will include performers of all shapes and sizes.

Sarah Paulson will be portraying the dual role as Bette and Dot Tattle: conjoined twin sisters, Michael Chiklis is taking on the character of Dell Toldeo: the strongman and Jyoti Amge, the world’s smallest woman, will be featured during Season 4 of the FX series.

What did you think of the “Freak Show” trailer? Did you find it just as enjoyable as the fan-made promo video? Sound off in the comments section below with your thoughts and don’t forget to tune into “American Horry Story” when Season 4 premieres on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 10 p.m. EDT.
