“American Horror Story” just added a fan favorite to the Season 5 cast of “Hotel.” Showrunner Ryan Murphy took to Twitter on Thursday to announce the exciting news that Angela Bassett would be stirring up chaos in the forthcoming FX installment set to premiere this fall.

“In October, Angela Bassett will be making lots of trouble with Lady Gaga in the ballroom and elsewhere. ‪#ahshotel,” the co-creator of the thriller announced in a tweet

The Oscar-nominated actress first made her horrifying debut on “AHS” during Season 3 of the spooky installment. Bassett starred as Marie Laveau, the queen of Voodoo, in “Coven” before taking on the role of the three-breasted wonder Desiree Dupree in Season 4’s “Freakshow.”

“That made me put the script down, walk away, and stop there,” the actress dished her reaction to Vulture in November 2014 after learning that in addition to rocking a trio of breasts, she’d also be sporting a “ding-a-a-ling” during Season 4.

So will Bassett’s role in the upcoming installment also shock fans? Although details for her “Hotel” character are unknown, we do know she’ll be checking into the fifth season of “AHS” with Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Chlöe Sevigny, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson and Lady Gaga.

Bassett worked closely with Michael Chiklis, who portrayed the role of Dell Toledo (the strong man), in Season 4 but this year it looks as though she’ll be acting side-by-side (or should we say singing side-by-side?) with the mother of monsters herself!
