Lady Gaga made the red carpet sizzle as the stunning star strutted her stuff down the blood-hued rug during the Season 5 premiere of “American Horror Story.” The 29-year-old Grammy winner, who announced her participation in the upcoming installment of “Hotel” in February, sported a one-shoulder Brandon Maxwell dress during the anticipated Los Angeles event which she attended with her fiancé Taylor Kinney.

Not only did the mother of monster’s rock her first red carpet premiere as an actress, but Lady Gaga also stole the show on the big screen as the hypnotically sexy, blood-sucking Countess during the Season 5 premiere episode, “Checking In.”

Brad Falchuk, co-creator of the FX anthology, dished that in addition to “Hotel” being the series’ darkest season, it’s also the show’s sexiest – thanks to Lady Gaga.

“We have all of these beautiful men on the show, incredibly sexy men who are incredibly open, and you have Gaga who is also incredibly beautiful and sexual,” he explained to Variety during the "AHS" Season 5 premiere event on Saturday, Oct. 3. “How are you going to tell a story with Matt Bomer and Lady Gaga and not have it be sexy? It’s impossible. They’re inherently sexy, so what are you going to do?”

Apparently the answer to that problem was simple: Script a sexy foursome.

But Lady Gaga divulged she wasn’t intimidated to partake in a steamy scene with her co-stars Bomer and Angela Bassett. In fact, the “Born This Way” singer revealed she found those scandalous moments on set as an “opportunity to be fearless.”

“They don’t scare me, those scenes,” she told Access Hollywood. “In a strange way, I think I almost prefer to watch myself in a love scene, because I know that I have to be completely honest in order to achieve something that looks authentic and feels real. I’m trying to see that authenticity in myself all the time on film.”

And it looks like her hard work paid off! Wes Bentley, who made his “AHS” debut during Season 4 of the horror series, gushed that he wasn’t surprised with Lady Gaga’s acting chops. “She’s amazing,” he said during the premiere event. “She brings intensity to all of her work.”

Fans can catch Lady Gaga as The Countess during Season 5 of “American Horror Story” when “Hotel” airs its premiere on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 10 p.m. EDT on FX.
