La’Porsha Renae is almost done with her debut album. Ever since coming in second place on Season 15 of Fox’s “American Idol,” Renae has been busy working on her first album. The McComb, Mississippi, native often shares updates on the project with fans via her social media and recently revealed that the album is finally almost complete.

“I’m at the studio,” Renae shared in a Twitter video Friday. “Album is one song away from being completed.”

According to Billboard, Renae’s “American Idol” coronation song “Battles” — which she performed during the series finale — will be one of the tracks on the album, which is slated to be released in November.

Last month, it was reported that “Battles” was also going to be the theme song for the USA women’s gymnastics team for the 2016 Rio Olympics. “I wasn’t even the winner of the show, so I felt very honored to be afforded this opportunity,” Renae told Billboard.com about the honor.

Not too many details about Renae’s album have been released, but in April “American Idol” mentor Scott Borchetta told USA Today that it would be a “killer diva-soul-R&B-pop record.” Even though Renae was known on the show for her killer ballads, the mother of one told reporters after the show’s finale that when it came to recording music she didn’t want to box herself into one genre. “I have a lot of written material, and all of it’s different,” she explained. “Some records that I have are country, some pop, some alternative rock. I just write what I feel, so I can’t specifically say. I just want to be an artist of truth and an artist that stays true to herself.”
