American Idol Season 15 Top 24
"American Idol" revealed the Top 24 semifinalists for Season 15. Fox

After nailing auditions, making it past the group challenge and getting through the stressful Hollywood Week round, "American Idol" Season 15 has named their Top 24 semifinalists. Now that the first big cut is behind them, the contestants are taking to social media to share their excitement over the news.

Trent Harmon, who was revealed as one of the semifinalists, was worried he wouldn't even make it past Hollywood Week's solo round when he got a call from his doctor telling him he had mono. Despite being ill, Harmon was able to power through his performance.

Joining Harmon in the Top 24 is La'Porsha Renae, Manny Torres, Avalon Young, Shelbie Z, CJ Johnson, Sonika Vaid, Jeneve Rose Mitchell, Tristan McIntosh and Jenn Blosil. Rounding out the list is singer/songwriter Mackenzie Bourg as well as John Sasser, Stephany Negrete, Emily Brooke, Thomas Stringfellow, Jenna Renae, Amelia Eisenhauer, James Vill, Kory Wheeler and Adam Lasher. Unfortunately for contestant Lee Jean, who made it to the Top 24, his partner-in-crime Sara Sturm was eliminated during Thursday night's show. “I Still Believe” singer Brenda K Song's daughter Gianna Isabella also made it through to the next round.

“It was amazing. It was such a good experience. I’m so excited for the rest of the ‘Idol’ experience,” Isabella told New Jersey radio station 101.5 Friday.
