Musicians have worked hard all year, and on Sunday, their efforts will be rewarded at the 43rd annual American Music Awards on ABC. Several artists will take the stage, while Jennifer Lopez will host the event that airs live at 8 p.m. EST.

The artists will gather at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, where the musicians across all genres will be presented with awards following a fan vote. In addition to awards being given out, there will also be several live performances throughout the night. The 2015 performers include Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Gwen Stefani, The Weeknd, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Coldplay, One Direction, Nick Jonas, Walk the Moon, Selena Gomez, 5 Seconds of Summer and Carrie Underwood. It's also been reported that a few of the performers will team up for some duets throughout the night.

For fans tweeting along to the ceremony at home, the show has created unique emojis for several of the artists who will be performing. Viewers are encouraged to tweet their best pictures featuring the emojis to @TheAMAs with the performer's hashtag. The official AMAs Twitter account may just retweet your comment!

The awards ceremony can be seen on a live stream at ABC.com or on the Watch ABC app. In order to watch the event, you will need to sign in using your cable subscription information, so be sure to log in prior to the 8 p.m. start.
