“America’s Got Talent” Season 11 contestant Grace Vanderwaal has finally arrived in Los Angeles for the upcoming live shows.

On her Instagram account, the 12-year-old “I Don’t Know My Name” singer shared a photo of herself walking on the streets of LA before bumping into Minnie Mouse. The photo also confirmed that Vanderwaal was just across a Disney Studio store. Vanderwaal, who received a golden buzzer from judge Simon Cowell, also expressed her excitement over the upcoming live shows. She said that there’s only nine days left before she takes to the Dolby Theater stage.

Meanwhile, Vanderwaal gained instant fame after her audition aired on the hit NBC reality TV show. Prior to her performance, judge Simon Cowell asked her if she thinks she could become this season’s winner. The very timid Vanderwaal replied by saying, “Well, I believe that miracles can happen… So, possibly.” At this point, the crowd cheered her on.

Following her successful audition, Vanderwaal spoke with Rolling Stone to say that her life instantly changed the minute everyone saw her on TV. “The reaction is very great but it gets kind of confusing. I used to sit alone at lunch with only Caroline, and now all of these people are coming. I don’t know if they genuinely want to be my friend or they want to be the girl from ‘America’s Got Talent’s’ friend,” she said. Vanderwaal also shared that her social media accounts blew up with new followers and comments. She also received countless phone calls and texts from majority of the people she knew.

Vanderwaal also had the chance to perform live at the Lafayette Theater last month. The free concert was attended by 860 people and was organized by the theater owner Ari Benmosche. “She really deserves it,” he told Lohud.

“America’s Got Talent” Season 11 will return to NBC on Aug. 23 at 8 p.m. ET.
