“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 contestant Brandon Rogers’ brother, Danni Rogers, recently revealed that he accompanied his sibling to the auditions.

On his Instagram account, Danni posted a copy of NBC’s special tribute for his brother on Tuesday night’s episode of “America’s Got Talent.” In his caption, Danni said that he is so blessed to have been part of Brandon’s journey in the reality TV show. Unfortunately, Brandon could no longer compete in Season 12 after he was pronounced dead on June 11 following a fatal car crash.

Brandon’s emotional audition footage also revealed some interesting things about the 29-year-old family doctor. According to him, he decided to pursue a career in medicine after seeing his mom looking lifeless in their home when he was just a young boy. He also told judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel that he wants to juggle his music career, as well as his career as a professional physician.

Before and after his performance, Brandon called his mom, who he said he is very close to. Initially, he told her that he’s very scared about his audition, and his mom calmed him down. After getting four yesses from the judges, Brandon broke the news to his mom via a phone call.

On June 13, Danni also posted an emotional video on his Instagram account thanking fans, friends and family for all of their love and support following Brandon’s demise. Danni also said that even though he’s heartbroken over his brother’s death, he is happy to know that he has inspired so many other people’s lives.

Following his death, the Rogers family organized a viewing on June 21 at 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the J.T. Fisher Funeral Services in Virginia. The Homegoing Service for Brandon was held on June 22 at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church on June 22.

Meanwhile, “America’s Got Talent” Season 12 will go on as usual. In the coming weeks, all of the contestants who made it through the finals will compete in the judge cuts. Unfortunately, only half will head to the live shows.

“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC.
