One company that is becoming a friend of both investors and environmentalists is AMP Holding Inc. Located in Blue Ash, Ohio, AMP was founded in 2007 by automotive industry veterans whom created several hi-tech companies and have continued with their mission to convert GM petroleum-fueled vehicles to all-electric. Today, AMP took a major step towards enhancing their future with the announcement that Mark Valerio will join their team as a consultant.

Valerio is a known-name in the industry with decades of executive experience at GM. During his time at GM, Valerio served as the director of market planning and acquisitions, and managing the identification of nationwide strategic dealership locations. In the Motors Holding Division, Valerio served on the board of directors of well over 100 dealer companies. As GM’s northeast regional director, Valerio’s efforts were concentrated on improving dealer sales performance, customer satisfaction, capitalization and profitability in the opinion-leading northeast region.

Leading the team at AMP is Steve Burns who serves as the company’s CEO. Commenting on what the addition of Valerio will mean to the future of AMP, Burns was quoted as saying, “The addition of Mark, as well as Bill Wylam and Dennis Davis earlier this month, fortifies our team with a wealth of industry expertise that will be vital to AMP as we execute against our business model. As we ramp up production and prepare to bring our all-electric GM conversions to market, Mark’s extensive dealership knowledge should prove invaluable as we establish our dealer network.”

Currently, AMP is trading in the $0.75 range. With a strong product in place that is environmentally friendly and the addition of leaders such as Mark Valerio, AMP is a company investors will need to keep an eye on.
