Former “Dancing With The Stars” Season 18 runner-up Amy Purdy is getting ready for her summer wedding. But the paralympic medalist has not yet finalized her wedding gown. Purdy is all set to marry her fiancé Daniel Gale. She has not yet revealed the exact day of the wedding.

“We do have a date set and we are doing it very quickly. At the end of the summer, it will be done,” said the world-class snowboarder, talking to E!News during the ESPY Awards. Amy and Daniel were engaged in May after dating for 13 years.

Purdy recounted her engagement to Gale while they were walking on a beach in Puerto Rico. It was a dreamy setup for the "DWTS" star with the sea and sand all around, and then Gale got down on one knee and presented a ring made of twigs to his girlfriend. Purdy was happy that the couple were ready to take their relationship to the next level with an official commitment.

The snowboarder teased that the label Love for Lemons is designing some of the dresses for the wedding. Purdy said she is doing a mixture of dresses and working with different designers for the bridesmaid dresses. But, the bride-to-be does not yet have her own gown finalized.

The couple are preparing for an “intimate wedding,” but she felt that if they want a small wedding, they would need to elope. Purdy could not deny that the guest list might grow during the planning process.

The couple are making sure that all the people who have supported them in their 13-year journey will be by their side on their big day. According to Purdy it was of utmost importance and would make their wedding special.

Purdy’s engagement ring is composed of a two-carat diamond that was made to match the twig ring with which Gale proposed. The vintage-inspired ring is made of rose gold and platinum with a golden brown-colored, brilliant-cut diamond. The earthly hue of the diamond fits Amy’s warm and down-to-earth personality, the Los Angeles jeweler said.
