Amy Schumer recently shared that she suffered from food poisoning during her trip to Paris with her boyfriend, Ben Hanisch.

On her Instagram account, the comedian poked fun at her situation by posting a video, where she lists some facts about herself. The actress said that she’s 35, and that she just wants to live her life to the fullest. “I love music and food and I really just want someone to share all that with. So, I’m taking a chance,” she said in the short clip.

The actress also posted a collage of photos from the hospital where she received treatment. In another photo, Schumer and Hanisch were photographed lying on her hospital bed. The actress captioned the photo by saying thank you to Paris, but not to the food poisoning.

According to People, Schumer and Hanisch have been dating since January. Last week, they attended GQ’s Men of the Year celebration in London where Schumer received the Woman of the Year recognition.

The actress spoke with Marie Claire last month and opened about her boyfriend. According to her, she and Hanisch share a unique and strong bond with each other. “I feel like Ben is the first guy who’s really been my boyfriend. There are guys who, if they heard me say that, would want to punch me in the face, but yeah, it’s the truth,” she said.

In other news, Schumer’s highly-anticipated memoir “The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo” was released two months ago. Prior to its launch, Schumer received a $9 million advance. According to Richmond, the book has been named as one of Apple’s top iBooks for the month of September. The book landed in the number four spot, trailing behind Paula Hawkins’ “The Girl on the Train.”
