Amy Schumer’s boyfriend Ben Hanisch was not interested in hearing the comedienne’s new jokes — he just wanted to sleep next to her.

On Sunday, Aug. 21, Schumer shared a rare bed selfie with her furniture designer beau on Instagram. The photo, which showed Hanisch asleep on the actress’ shoulder, came with a sarcastic, funny caption that read: “Super interested in hearing my new material.”

Schumer posted the sweet photo five days after she gushed over Hanisch while promoting her new book “The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo” in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

According to the “Trainwreck” actress, Hanisch is "totally different" from most of his former boyfriends.

“I usually would go for narcissists who, you know, could never be happy," the 35-year-old Emmy-winning actress said. "[Ben's] just very supportive and loving and I think we're very proud of each other.” She added, “He is so far removed from this business [and] that it's really nice.”

Schumer and Hanisch went public with their relationship in January, and since then, the two couldn’t help but declare their love for each other.

For instance, a day after the 2016 Critics' Choice Awards, Hanisch took to Instagram to gush about Schumer’s look during the awards night.

“One more from last night because this girl looked insanely gorgeous,” Hanisch captioned a photo with the funny woman wearing a sexy Calvin Klein dress. "And I'm in love with her."

More recently, in the August issue of Marie Claire, Schumer called Hanisch her first, real boyfriend. “I feel like Ben is the first guy who's really been my boyfriend,” she told the magazine. “There are guys who, if they heard me say that, would want to punch me in the face, but yeah, it's the truth.”

Schumer will be next seen in the upcoming drama film “Thank You for Your Service,” which is based on the non-fiction book of the same name by David Finkel. The Jason Hall-directed movie has no official release date yet.
