Amy Winehouse, who tragically passed away on July 23, 2011, would have celebrated her 33rd birthday today, September 14, 2016.

The singer with the remarkable voice, and personality to match, became an international star with her 2006 album, Back to Black, which included the song with which she is perhaps most identified, “Rehab.”

Her great success as an award-winning artist was marred by a tumultous private life which included drugs, alcohol and bad choices in men.

Sadly, Winehouse joined the notorious "27 Club" along with other musical talents, Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain, who all also died at that young age.
