Amy Winehouse's struggles in her personal life are no secret. After battling addiction to drugs and alcohol, her struggles are now following her on stage.

The singer attempted to perform while under the influence in Belgrade, which led to her being booed off the stage Saturday night.

It all started when she arrived an hour late for the show, and stumbled around the stage while slurring the worlds to her 2008 song Just Friends.

The United Kingdom's newspaper Telegraph reported that when she got on stage, in front of 20,000 people, she shouted Hello, Athens.

After the failed concert, the 27 year old singer apologized to fans and canceled Monday's scheduled performance in Istanbul and Wednesday's in Athens.

People magazine reports that last month Winehouse checked in to rehab for her ongoing issues with drugs and alcohol.

Winehouse's management released a statement after the incident which says, Despite feeling sure that she wanted to fulfill these commitments, she has agreed with management that she cannot perform to the best of her ability and will return home ... She would like to apologize to fans expecting to see her at the shows but feels that this is the right thing to do.

Her next show after the canceled Istanbul and Athens shows is scheduled for Friday July 8 in Spain. It is not yet clear whether Winehouse will perform then.
