Just hours before Amy Winehouse died at the tender age of 27, she had cleared a medical examination with her doctor.

"The doctor was happy with her condition. When he left on Friday night he had no concerns", according to a source to The Sun.

Amy's health "has been very fragile and she has been having a series of check-ups," the source says.

The talented soul singer was discovered dead at her Camden home in North London Saturday afternoon by a bodyguard. Her death shocked the world, and flowers and cards have been pouring in.

Winehouse also lunched with mom Janis the day before her death. According to her mother, Amy "seemed weary, but that wasn't particularly unusual as she always went to bed late. Her passing so suddenly still hasn't hit me."
