Ron Burgundy fans can get a glimpse of their man's evolution into the '80s now that the full trailer of “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” has been released. The next chapter finds Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) and his news team “washed up” at the end of the 1970s. But that changes as an unkempt Burgundy is approached to work at a 24-hour news network in the 1980s. The sequel features the same crass humor we saw in the original, “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,” including a scene where Brick Tamland (Steve Carell) talks to a love interest played by Kristen Wiig, who displays similarly awkward social skills.

The much-anticipated sequel was announced in March 2012 when Will Ferrell dressed in character as Ron Burgundy on the late-night talk show “Conan.”

The film is slated to be out in theaters on December 20, 2013. In the meantime, take a first look at the full trailer for “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.”
