Samsung Galaxy Note 2 owners are still eagerly awaiting their OTA Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, but word on the street is a Samsung service center already has access to the update. One lucky Galaxy Note 2 owner in India recently shared with SamMobile, screenshots of his Galaxy Note 2 handset updated to Android 4.3 last Friday.

According to the screenshots, the GT-N7100 international model of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 updates to firmware version N7100XXUEMJ9 of Android 4.3. Little information can be derived from the leak, and with no changelog from Samsung, there is no way of knowing what model specific improvements the update will bring.

If accurate; however, it may be an indication that the Android 4.3 update for the international Galaxy Note 2 model is near. Manufacturers tend to roll out Android system updates onto international models before they hit U.S. models, but the Android 4.3 update may also hit carrier branded Galaxy Note 2 models fairly soon.

A recently leaked Android 4.3 roll out schedule for several U.S. models of Samsung Galaxy devices has already accurately predicted the Oct. 28 update of the Verizon Galaxy S4 and the Oct. 30 update of the Sprint Galaxy S4. While not on the schedule, the U.S. Cellular Galaxy S4 has also updated to Android 4.3.

According to the document, the AT&T and Sprint Galaxy Note 2 models will update to Android 4.3 on Nov. 20, while the Verizon model will update on 11/29, and the T-Mobile model will update on 12/2.

In addition, Samsung has also confirmed that the Galaxy Note 2, as well as the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S3 are all set to receive a Premium Suite software update, which includes Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, Galaxy Gear support and Samsung KNOX security, among many other features.

Rumors also indicate that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 may also receive in the update, many features currently exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 including Air Command with its Pen Window, Screen Writer, Scrapbook, and Action Memo options, among others. The Galaxy Note 2 includes S-Pen functionality and probably would be compatible with Galaxy Note 3 features, but Samsung has not indicated whether the Note 2 will get such an update.
