The official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the Samsung (KRX:005935) Galaxy Note is yet to be rolled out by the company. But, users of the international version of the device, with the model number GT-N7000, can update their handsets to the latest OS by the flashing the Lightning custom ROM.

The Lightning custom ROM, which comes with multi-window support, over-the-air update support and floating window, is claimed to be stable, fast and smooth, according to Team Android.
