Some Oscar winners may celebrate at either the Elton John afterparty or the Vanity Fair soiree, but not Ang Lee, who won Best Director for “Life of Pi.”

Instead, he was spotted after the awards show eating an In-N-Out burger in celebration of his gold statue. Or as TMZ put it, “Lee puts the Ang in Angus.”

Lee was seen on the streets of Hollywood clutching his Oscar for Best Director in his left hand and biting into an In-N-Out burger with his right hand, all while still wearing his tuxedo. A photo of Lee and his burger was posted on Instagram by Vanity Fair publisher Edward Menicheschi.

No wonder Lee needed a bit of comfort food to wind down after the celebration. Earlier in the night, he told the Wall Street Journal’s "Speakeasy" he was exhausted of taking pictures.

“I’m a little tired,” Lee said. “Holding this and taking photos for hours. The whole place seems to be very happy when I win. And they stood up and there were cheers. So that was very touching, you know?”

Lee didn’t call it an early night with his burger, though. He went to Lure nightclub in Los Angeles around 1 a.m. for the 20th Century Fox/Fox Searchlight afterparty.

Lee’s “Life of Pi” earned 11 Oscar nominations and won four at the 85th Academy Awards, for Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score and Best Visual Effects.

During his speech, Lee thanked the entire crew of “Life of Pi,” including those as far away as India, Canada and Taiwan.

“Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you, movie god. I really need to share this with all 3,000. Everybody who worked with me on Life of Pi. I want to thank you for … I really want to thank you for believing in this story and share this incredible journey with me,” Lee said to a standing ovation.

“I cannot make this movie with the help of Taiwan. We shot there. I want to thank everybody there helped us. Especially the city of Tai Chong. My Indian crew, I love you. My Canadian crew, I love you” Lee said, also thanking his wife ahead of their 30th wedding anniversary this summer.
