Angelea Preston was mysteriously disqualified from America's Next Top Model (ANTM) on Wednesday night without much explanation. Fellow contestant Lisa D'Amato was named the winner of the contest.

The CW television network then released the following statement about the decision to disqualify Preston: After production wrapped on the current cycle of America's Next Top Model, we learned information that made Angelea ineligible and she was subsequently disqualified from the competition. As a result, new scenes were filmed to address this for the audience during the finale.

Even with this statement, however, fans of Preston and the show remained confused and unsatisfied. The statement also did not put to rest the rumor that Preston was disqualified because she shared confidential information about the show (namely, that she was declared the winner) on Facebook.

Now, Preston will reportedly hold a press conference to tell her side of the story.

Wetpaint reported that Preston will hold a press conference in New York on Saturday, when she will explain what really happened leading up to her sudden disappearance from the running.

Reality TV World and Reality TV Magazine also claimed Preston will hold a conference. However, no other publication seemed to have reported the news as of 5:45 p.m. ET.

Whatever your story, you made a huge impression on me. I truly respect you for what I saw you overcome. I can't pull myself away from ANTM, addicted! But you, by far, have been my favorite because of how much you've grown. I was totally let down at the end of the finale because I was pulling for you the whole way. Keep reaching girl, you are a star, wrote one commenter on ANTM's Facebook page.

It's unfair to the fans not to have been able seen all three girls judged until the end. They could have still announced a different winner with Angelea there, if she indeed win the original shot. I don't think its fair to the fans to cut out someone at the end. Even if Angelea did something wrong, Tyra could have kept her just to finish the show, wrote another commenter.

Not at all happy with Angelea Preston not winning. May be my last time watching, wrote a third.
