People, who went fishing along the Banguri seawall in Pohang, Kyungbok province in South Korea, were in for a shock - they found a drowned kitten that was tied to a rock.

The kitten's paws were found tied to a rock, which was bigger than the kitten itself in size.

Coexistence of Animal Rights on Earth (CARE), a South Korea based animal rights organization, released the photos taken at the site and announced that they are hunting for the suspect. A reward of $2,800 is being offered by CARE to anyone who witnessed the abuse scene or has information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

CARE estimated that the incident may have happened between noon to 4:30 pm on May 21.

Many Koreans are outraged over the senseless and brutal abuse on the small kitten.
