Ann Widdecombe does not trust Meghan Markle.

The former Conservative MP called Prince Harry's fiancée "trouble" when she was still competing in the UK's version of "Celebrity Big Brother." After coming second to drag queen Courtney Act, Widdecombe appeared on "Good Morning Britain" and was asked about her controversial statement.

"I'm just very dubious that somebody who has made her life in those sorts of films, been married before, comes over and has to become an active member of a very, very stuffy, traditional family," Widdecombe told Piers Morgan and Sussana Reid (via Daily Express).

She also added that Prince Harry might be forced to change his role after his royal wedding in May with the "Suits" star. "I think that could be quite difficult. But Harry's sufficiently far removed from the throne that if he has to make modifications in that way he'll do it... modifications to the role," Widdecombe explained.

Widdecombe made headlines in January after branding the royal bride-to-be as a "trouble." While inside the "Big Brother" house, the 70-year-old former MP spoke with fellow contestant Rachel Johnson, who asked her comments about Markle.

"I think she's trouble," Widdecombe said. When Johnson asked why she thinks of Markle that way, she explained, "background, attitude, I worry."

Johnson mentioned that the "Horrible Bosses" star is older than Prince Harry and has been married before. Widdecombe agreed and said, "Yes, I add it all up and I am uneasy, but there we go."

However, many took Widdecombe's statement against her. A number of Twitter users reacted negatively towards the politician-turned-reality star.

"So Anne thinks Meghan Markle is trouble because of 'background and attitude' lol we all knew what the old cow meant #cbb," Benny wrote.

"Anne is so funny...she said she thinks Meghan Markle is trouble because of her attitude. What attitude Anne? What attitude? #cbb," another user posted.

In related news, Markle's controversial half-sister Samantha Grant made another interview and she talked about Prince Harry's fiancée again. Grant denied that she's jealous of Markle and claimed that she has her own successes.

"I was always very proud of her [Markle]. I never felt bitter or jealous," Grant said. "I had made similar choice. Because early in my life, that I wanted I took my career to the level in television as well when I made the decision and I quit to get my degrees. To go back to school when I made those choices, So how can I be bitter I had my successes."
