Marvel has revealed a new batch of images from the forthcoming movie “Ant-Man.” They offer a glimpse of various characters including Ant-Man/Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Kurt (David Dastmalchian) and Darren Cross (Corey Stoll).

In majority of pictures, Ant-Man can be seen in action. In one of them, he can be seen taking a dive in the air while in another he stands victorious after defeating villains. In another shot, he appears to be walking with an army of ants while in other he finds himself stuck in a pit.

Other images show Cross in a sweet embrace with Van Dyne. He will be seen as the CEO of Cross Technological Enterprises, which will own the Ant-Man suit until Lang steals it from him. It appears that Stoll’s character will share a close relationship with Lilly’s character.

The images also show Kurt sitting on a sofa, as he appears to be speaking to someone. Lang can also be seen standing with his hands folded and Pym can be seen in a standoff with Cross.

“Ant-Man” opens July 17. It concerns the story of a petty thief, Lang, who accesses the suit, which gives him the ability to shrink in size but increase in strength. Under the guidance of Pym and Van Dyne, Lang must channel the power of his super suit to pull a heist against evil forces. Peyton Reed has directed the film from a screenplay by Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish, Adam McKay and Rudd. Kevin Feige has produced it and Christophe Back has supplied the music.

Meanwhile, the first TV spot via Cinema Blend for "Ant-Man" has been released. It opens with Cross promoting his Yellow Suit whereas Pym can be seen telling Lang that he wants him to be the Ant-Man. The thrilling part of the trailer shows Lang testing the features of Ant-Man suit, including shrinking, controlling ants and gaining strength. It ends with Ant-Man shrinking in size and scaring a group of men.
