The climactic scene of “Ant-Man” will reportedly feature a helicopter clash between Ant-Man/Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Darren Cross/Yellowjacket (Corey Stoll). MTV’s Josh Wigler, who visited the film’s Atlanta set in October, reportedly wiatched the scene being filmed. It showed Ant-Man evading gunfire as he indulged in a verbal spat with Cross.

Cross will be the main antagonist. He will be a child prodigy who will be nurtured by Hank Pym (Michael Douglas). He will take over Pym’s technology company and will devise a Yellowjacket suit that will be a more advanced version of Ant-Man’s suit.

“I’ve discovered my own version of that technology and I’m using it for militaristic purposes. I’ve even started to use the technology myself, which has a sort of psychotic effect on people if they use it too much. I can’t get into the details of all the goodies of the Yellowjacket suit, but it’s several generations advanced from what Ant-Man has. And then I put it on -- and then I am Yellowjacket,” Stoll told Entertainment Weekly.

Meanwhile, the film is also set to feature Wasp in a small role. According to comic books, Wasp is the alter ego of Pym’s partner, Janet Van Dyne. She turns into Wasp to avenge the death of her father. She is also a founding member of the Avengers. According to Collider, Van Dyne will be Pym’s wife in the film and will be seen in a flashback. It is not clear whether she will die in the film. It has yet to be revealed who will play the character.

Peyton Reed has directed “Ant-Man” from a screenplay by Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish, Adam McKay and Rudd, based on the story by Wright and Cornish. The film will have its world premiere in Los Angeles on June 29 and will open July 17. It will be shown in 3D and Imax 3D.
