Anthony Mackie’s Falcon is all set to appear in “Ant-Man.” In a recently released Spanish TV spot via Comicbook, Falcon is shown for a split-second at about 18-second mark. He can be seen wearing an eye mask and black and red suit. It is not known how the character will factor in the plot.

According to Web speculation, Falcon's his appearance could be related to Ant-Man’s (Paul Rudd) forthcoming appearance in “Captain America: Civil War.” Falcon may come to recruit Ant-Man into one of the two Avenger groups. In the film, the Avengers will be split into groups led by Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).

Mackie, who also played Falcon in “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” is excited about the way his character is shaping up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “It’s so amazing to be a part of the Marvel universe. And Marvel does not settle for mediocre on any of their movies. And that is what’s so great. I love working with Chris [Evans]. He’s one of my closest friends. So, as long as it’s me and Chris playing Falcon and Cap, I’m all cool with being Falcon,” Mackie told Screen Rant.

Meanwhile, “Ant-Man” centers on petty thief Scott Lang, who plots a heist in order to save Ant-Man technology from the clutches of evil. The film premiered June 29 and according to “Guardians of the Galaxy” director James Gunn it's a “complete blast.” “'Ant-Man' may just be my favorite Marvel film since Jon Favreau’s 'Iron Man.' It’s never boring for a second and it’s hilarious and warm throughout,” Gunn wrote in a Facebook post.

Peyton Reed has directed “Ant-Man” from a screenplay by Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish, Adam McKay and Rudd. Other cast members include Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Tip "T.I." Harris, Wood Harris, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian and Michael Douglas. Kevin Feige is the producer. The movie opens July 17 in 3D and Imax 3D.
