The “Happiest Place On Earth” turned horrifically sad Tuesday.

Anthony Johnson, 13, who fell into a Walt Disney World resort swimming pool in Florida Sunday, has died, the AP reports.

"I never want to see something like that, especially on vacation, much less to a child," William Cybulski, a firefighter vacationing from Buffalo, N.Y., who witnessed the scene, told WKMG.

Anthony, a teen from Missouri, was playing with his friends at the Pop Century Resort. He went missing and was spotted several minutes later at the bottom of the pool, according to ABC 15. The teen’s father performed CPR until paramedics transported him to a hospital, where he later died, according to WFTV.

"Thank you, he touched alot of people, he is loved by so many. And that makes us all family thank you for loving Him," Jessica Gilbreath, the teen's mother, posted in a comment to supporters beneath a photo she posted of Johnson on Facebook.

Anthony was found at 9:30 p.m. No lifeguards were on duty at the time, and signs were posted saying swimmers were at their own risk, ABC 15 reports.

On Tuesday, Disney released a statement: "We are saddened by Anthony Johnson’s passing and our hearts go out to his family, friends and loved ones. We have reached out to his family to offer care and assistance during this difficult time."

Investigators are looking into the incident.
