As President Donald Trump closed in on his first 100 days in office, his opponents continued to take to the streets to protest his presidency and policies. Organizers have planned events since the new administration took over in January and showed no signs of slowing down as April came to a close.

In New York, Washington, D.C., and around the country, marches were planned for the last days of April and the first days of May. The list below shows upcoming protests and rallies. Many smaller, sister marches for each of the below events were also planned for towns and cities in various states.

April 29, People’s Climate March
Washington, D.C.

The People’s Climate March protest was set to coincide with the 100th day of the Trump administration. Organizers aimed to rally for clean water, air and land protections, protection for tribal people and lands, renewed commitment to public funding and investments and free speech. The march in D.C. planned to start in front of the Capitol before circling the White House and ending at the Washington Monument. A map of sister marches taking place in other locations throughout the country was posted on the People’s Climate March website.
