Steve Jobs biographer Walter Isaacson said one of the desired reinvention fields of Apple co-founder, including television and textbooks, was photography. With the line between digital camera and smartphone blurring everyday, here comes a conceptual iPhone accessory that can transform your iPhone 5 (yes, you heard it right) into a snazzy, uber-cool, super-smart digital camera.

Italian designer Antonio DeRosa of ADR Studio has created a mock-up of the accessory concept, dubbed iCam. It shows iPhone 5, which features a larger edge-to-edge display and oval home button, snugly encased inside iCam.

iCam is easy to use too. Simply snap on you iPhone 5 into the slim case to gain access to the interchangeable lenses. The case has a small screen in the front for self-portrait shots as well as a pico-projector. Other various features include white balance and ISO controls, LED Flash, Motion Sensor and a rotating wheel for preset programs.

The finishing of the iCam case would even make Apple envious - in brushed aluminum body, iCam looks just perfect and could easily be a replacement for entry-level DSLR cameras.

And why not? ADR Studio imagines iCam to feature:

* Aluminum Unibody
* Interchangeable Apple-Lens Lenses, with iMount mounting system
* Front touch screen for self-portraits and for micro-app
* LED Flash
* Front pico-projector
* SD UHS-i slot
* Siri Compatible
* Motion Sensor
* ISO range from 100 to 3200 (extendable up to 6400 equivalent)
* Full HD at 60fps
* 10.1-megapixel sensor
* Bluetooth

Drooling already? Well, too bad that it's just a concept. Anyways, you'll have to wait for iPhone 5 to come out first. But it is true that the imagination of Antonio helps us to think that there can also be this unique way of improving the visual functions of iPhone.

Meanwhile we wonder - would Steve Jobs be excited to see this? Start the slideshow to find out for yourself.
