Apple Inc's iOS 5 is officially out for download now. Many users went crazy downloading the new updates for their iPhones, iPads and iPods. However, with Apple's release of the new operating system, the Redsn0w jailbreak is also ready with its new version 0.9.9 for iOS 5.

The Redsnow 0.9.9 jailbreak is a tethered one - you need a Windows or Mac computer running Redsn0w every time you reboot your iOS device.

The new jailbreak will not be able to work with the devices with the A5 processor - iPad 2 and iPhone 4S - as the processor doesn't have a bootroom-level exploit yet, Extreme Tech reported.

Redsn0w's new version will let you jailbreak iOS 5 on iPhone 4 all versions, iPhone 3GS, iPad one.

Extreme Tech has even posted links to download Redsn0w 0.9.9 for Mac/Windows.

Redmondpie has put a walkthrough on its Web site for those who are jailbreaking for the first time.
