Motorola's recently launched Droid RAZR will certainly face stiff competition from Apple's iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy S2. Considering this scenario, it will be interesting to have a comparison of the features of the three competitors.

iPhone 4S is measuring 9.3mm and weighs 140g. Galaxy S2 is 8.49mm thick and it weighs just 116g. Motorola Droid RAZR has a mere 7.1mm thickness and weighs 127g.

iPhone 4S, equipped with iOS 5, is touted as being very simple to use. Galaxy S2 runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Motorola Droid RAZR also runs on Android 2.3.

iPhone 4S has an 8-megapixel camera capable of capturing 1080p video footage. Galaxy S2 also packs an 8-megapixel camera with a single LED flash that is capable of capturing 1080p video footage. Motorola Droid RAZR has an 8-megapixel, LED flash rear camera with video recording of 1080p at 30fps.

iPhone 4S has a screen at 3.5 inches and has a Retina display of 960x640-pixel resolution at 326 ppi. Samsung Galaxy S2 has a 4.3-inch, 800x480-pixel screen that incorporates Super AMOLED Plus technology. Droid RAZR has a 4.2-inch screen, qHD resolution, paired with Super AMOLED touchscreen.

iPhone 4S is powered by a dual-core A5 chip, which also has dual-core graphics capabilities. On the other hand, Galaxy S2 has a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor. Motorola's Droid RAZR features a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor.

Motorola Droid RAZR is expected to arrive in the U.S. next in November and will support the faster LTE or Long Term Evolution technology. It will be interesting to watch how strong a competition Motorola can give to Apple and Samsung.
