Apple fans can't wait to get their hands on the iPhone 5, and now, they may not have to. Even though some claim to be selling iPhone 5 parts in China, one Chinese company is actually selling modification kits based on the rumored design specs and features of the phone, which allow owners of the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S to make their phone look like the next-gen model.

The Shenzhen, China-based company, appropriately named "iPhone5Mod," promises to ship these iPhone 5 mod kits worldwide within seven days for just $30. Check out the images of the mod kits in the gallery above, and watch the video provided by the company at the bottom of the page.

The company says that while the mods won't make your phone into the iPhone 5, they will make your phone certainly look like one, at least based on the designs and prototypes we've seen so far.

"This iPhone 5 conversion mod kit converts your iPhone 4 /4S to look just like the iPhone 5! (assuming that the iPhone 5 leaks are real...)!" the company wrote on its website. "When we first saw the leaked iPhone 5 photo from various tech sites, we were all anxious to try out! We thought that the easiest and fastest way out is to convert our iPhone 4 / 4S to look just like iPhone 5."

So that's exactly what iPhone5Mod did. The quality of each of these parts can't be confirmed, but the company says the mod kit includes an added internal metal frame, an added "heat sink sticker" for better heat management and dissipation, and other parts "of same quality as Foxconn suppliers," including glass-like acrylic face plates and a clear glass camera lens.

iPhone5Mod allows customers to choose the color they'd like - black or white - as well as the model, either the iPhone 4 GSM or the iPhone 4S CDMA model, which is the same as the iPhone 4S.

The Chinese mod kit makers also throw in a Phillips-head screwdriver and a Pentalobe (five-point star) screwdriver built for those difficult screws that Apple loves to use.

The company says the kits will ship in five-to-seven days, but customers can opt for faster shipping options via Speedpost.

"This item needs an extra seven days of processing lead-time before [the] order ships out," the company said. "We do not debit or capture your payment during the processing period until we have shipped out your order."

For those who'd rather not take the risk on buying an iPhone 5 mod kit overseas, the real McCoy iPhone 5 will likely be making its grand debut in a little less than a month. Apple is expected to debut the iPhone 5, as well as a brand-new mini iPad, on Wednesday, Sept. 12, but the iPhone 5 is said to nine days after its unveiling on Friday, Sept. 21

We know a good deal of what the iPhone 5 looks like, thanks to prototypes and images allegedly leaked by Apple's foreign supply chains.

The iPhone 5 stands taller than its older models, but that's because of the expanded screen. Whereas the glass lens of the iPhone 4S measures 76.65 mm long and 3.61 inches diagonally, the iPhone 5 screen stretches those dimensions: The front plate measures 90.25 mm long and 4.065 inches across. The width and the new height of the iPhone combined creates a resolution ratio of about 16:9, which will allow for 1080p HD videos, TV shows and movies to be played in a beautiful widescreen format.

In the iPhone 5, Apple has expanded and redesigned its speaker grills, migrated the FaceTime camera to be directly above the earpiece, moved the earphone jack from the top right corner of the phone to the bottom left corner, and introduced a new camera opening on the backside of the phone between the camera lens and the LED flash, which likely houses a small microphone. Finally, we believe Apple has fixed its iPhone 5 with a unibody metal back instead of an all-glass facade, which could potentially improve call reception, and has also endowed the iPhone with a new, smaller dock connector, which could be as small as 9 pins.

As far as interior features go, the iPhone 5 may be the first iPhone to support LTE connectivity, NFC technologies for sending money and sharing content, 3D photography, and multiplayer gaming. The phone may also be the first to feature crack-proof glass in its design, as well as a new haptics feedback system, which could produce 3D buttons or objects for users to physically interact with their content. More of the phone's features can be read about here.

The iPhone 5 models will likely sell at the same prices as the current iPhone line -- $199, $299, and $399 for 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB -- not the $800 starting price as rumored.

But in case you don't want to wait that long for the real deal, at least you can disguise your phone as an iPhone 5!
