Apple has submitted a patent that plans to install better security facilities on its systems, reports said.

The patent, credited to one David Gere, explains the need of a system and a method for electronically controlling the viewing angle of a certain display. The system is designed to push viewing privacy to a new level.

If the plan on the patent is brought to life, the user will be able to control the display angles on the device in a way that the screens will not be visible to others.

The patent also talks about using a certain liquid crystal element in the display screen which can be steered once the user opts for the ‘privacy mode’.

Apple is yet to confirm the latest patent officially.
