Apple Music gives subscribers access to a huge library of songs from various artists. One great thing about this is that unlike tuning in to radio stations that play music randomly, Apple Music users can create their customized playlists containing their favorite songs.

Apple Music subscribers can create different playlists for whatever mood or setting they're in. The service allows users to have playlists for their workouts, morning commutes, lunch breaks and late night listening sessions by themselves, with friends, or with family. The best thing about playlists is that they're easy to create, whether using an iPhone, iPad or Mac.

Here's how to make Apple Music playlists, as per Apple Insider:

Using an iPhone or iPad

  • First, users should launch the Apple Music app.
  • Second, select a song to be added to a playlist, then tap and hold on it.
  • Third, users should select Add to Playlist from the options that appear
  • Fourth, users should tap on New Playlist, then name that playlist.

Users can add more songs to the newly created playlist by doing the following:

  • First, search for a song to be added.
  • Second, users should tap and hold on the song.
  • Third, users should tap on Add to a Playlist, then select the newly created playlist.

Using a Mac

  • First, users should open Apple Music.
  • Second, select a song to be added to a playlist, then click on the “...” button.
  • Third, users should select Add to Playlist, then click on New Playlist.
  • Fourth, users should name that playlist.

Users can add more songs to the newly created playlist this way:

  • First, search for a song to be added.
  • Second, users should click on the “...” button.
  • Third, users should click on Add to a Playlist, then select the newly created playlist.

Now that playlists have been created, users will be able to access them and listen to the songs in the playlist anytime. What's more, Apple Music users can share their playlists with others so that others can listen to what the user likes, too. Here's how to share an Apple Music playlist:

Using an iPhone or iPad

  • Users should launch the Apple Music app.
  • Next, users must select the playlist to be shared, tap on the “...” button, then tap on Share.

Using a Mac

  • Users should open Apple Music.
  • Next, users should select the playlist to be shared, click on the “...” button, then click on Share.

This allows users to get a link to the playlist, to be shared via iMessage, email, or to be embedded to a page that accepts HTML.
