In the shift, lead designer Jony Ive will be moving from hardware design to take charge of human interface design, which could lead to a more unified and seamless design between the devices and actual onscreen elements. With Bob Mansfield, senior VP of , and Craig Federighi, senior VP of Software Engineering, Cook says Apple is ready to “take collaboration to a whole different level.”
