iPad2 with 3G and Wi-fi includes Wi-Fi connectivity as well as 3G. 3G uses cellular signals to connect to internet. Ipad2 is configured to work with either Verizon or AT & T. The ones configured with AT & T have no problems in connectivity.

On Apple Discussions, the users have explained their predicaments. In general, they faced problems in switching to the 3G network from a Wi-Fi mode after switching on the iPad2. They had to reboot the iPad2 with 3G on. Some tried to connect for hours. The technical staff at the store tried a restore, reboot and switch to different modes. But nothing worked. Some of them who were in the 14 day window swapped to AT&T configuration.
