Apple CEO Tim Cook was in India in the previous week to discuss on the future Apple products and services in the country. During his visit he met several influential people of the country. A tweet from a leading Bollywood actor has revealed that the Cupertino based company is working on Apple VR device.

Emraan Hashmi, an Indian actor, has posted an image on Twitter that shows him standing with Cook and other personalities from Bollywood. The tweet states that the actor is “eagerly waiting for Apple VR!”

Apple has not disclosed any information on releasing a VR device in the near future and it seems that Cook may have simply talked about the forthcoming products of the company with Hashmi. However, Cook is known for not revealing any information on upcoming Apple devices.

Several well-known companies have already released their VR devices. Google too, announced its Daydream virtual reality platform in the previous week through the Google I/O 2016 event. Hence, speculations are rife that the Cupertino company may be working on an Apple VR headset.

Apple seems poised to enter VR market soon. At the beginning of this year, Financial Times had reported that Apple has built a team to begin working on its virtual reality efforts. The company has already shown its interest in augmented and VR tech as its staff were found spending time at Standfords’ Virtual Human Interaction Lab, Ubergizmo reported.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are expected to release in September this year. Both the phones are expected to sport similar design as iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus smartphones.

The iPhone 7 Plus is expected to feature a dual-camera setup and 256 GB of storage whereas the rear shooter of iPhone 7 is rumored to support OIS. Since the upcoming iPhones are not expected to feature significant improvements, rumors are now hinting that Apple may announce the Apple VR headset in September.
