As usual, Apple’s back-to-school program started in July, but the promotion was limited to the company’s retail stores, specific to a few countries. But now, the same back-to-school deals have been made available for online purchases as well. This promotion ends on Sept. 18, 2015.

Speaking of specifics, college students, parents of students and even educators including faculties and staff members can use Apple's 2015 back-to-school sale promotion to purchase Macs. Upon purchasing a Mac, customers will get a pair of Beats Solo2 On-Ear Headphones free of charge or buyers can also choose the wireless counterpart of the same headphone set at a discounted price of $200, notes MacRumors.

But not all Apple Macs are part of this back-to-school promotion. The eligible Macs include the Apple iMac, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, MacBook and Mac Pro. Meanwhile, the Apple Mac mini, refurbished version of the Macs, iPads and even iPhones are reportedly not part of the 2015 back-to-school sale. In addition, potential buyers can also save $20 on the iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad Mini 3 and iPad Mini 2.

On the other hand, Apple has created a new link specific to the back-to-school promotion on its site to take the potential buyer to the Education Store. If a customer tries to view any Mac in the Education Store, the promotional details pertaining to the back-to-school program pops up.

In addition, if a user picks up an eligible Apple Mac and adds the same to the shopping cart, customers are immediately reminded of the option to choose free Beats Solo2 headphone sets. Also notable is the never-ending color options of the headset, and this reportedly includes Gloss Black, Gloss White, Gloss Blue, Gloss Red (Product RED), Gloss Pink, Gloss Gray, Gold, Silver or Space Gray. Students planning to utilize the $200 discount specific to the Wireless Solo2 headphone set will have to add itto the shopping cart manually, notes MacRumors.
