A simple mistake appears to have confirmed the existence of Beats headphones that will be launched alongside the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus handsets during Apple’s Sept. 7 event.

Previously, Eurasian Economic Commission fillings have sparked rumors that Apple is preparing to launch three Beats by Dre headphones for its upcoming iPhone devices. Now, it appears that the fillings are really indicative of what’s to come when Apple takes center stage during its big event next week.

This Thursday, 9To5Mac found out that Apple’s Beats PR team made a mistake by sending out an email containing confirmation of new Beats headphones that will be launched for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Though the email has since been deleted, iGeneration managed to run a story about the confirmation and even attached a screenshot of the email to its report. However, as of writing, the screenshot is nowhere to be found on the site, with 9To5Mac confirming that Beats requested for its removal.

The email basically contained a part that mentions the imminent launch of the Beats by Dre headphones. To be specific, a statement that says “a selection of new Beats by Dre products will be unveiled” was found on top of the Apple invite on the body of the email.

While no specific details about the Beats headphones are available as of late, MacRumors claims that the email signifies that Apple is debuting Beats headphones with Lightning connectors along with the reportedly bundled wireless earphones of the new iPhones, called AirPods.

Earlier rumors claimed that Apple is actually launching EarPods with Lightning connector, and there were also reports claiming that the Cupertino giant is shipping its new smartphones with Lightning-to-headphone jack adapters in response to the absence of the 3.5mm headphone jack from its upcoming handsets.

Everything will be clarified when Apple officially launches its iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus next Wednesday, Sept. 7.
