“Suicide Squad” star Jared Leto really got fans excited last week when he posted a photo together with director Zack Snyder and the cast of “Justice League” sans Wonder Woman.

He attended CinemaCon to promote his new film, “Blade Runner 2049,” but he could not resist hanging out with the “Justice League” crew after, according to Batman News. When he posted about it on Instagram, fans began speculating that his character, Joker, has a secret role in the new movie.

“My excitement rose like never before in 2 seconds,” an enthusiastic fan commented on his post. Another one wrote, “Please Zack, put Joker [and] Harley in a cameo in ‘Justice League.’ That would be awesome!”

Before “Justice League” hits cinemas, however, DC fans will first be treated to Patty Jenkins’ “Wonder Woman.”

Gal Gadot, who plays the titular superhero, is hopeful that the movie will be well-received by fans and that her character will inspire people to spread love instead of hate. “With this character, what I love about her so much is that her agenda is love. It’s not about fighting, it’s not about who is stronger than whom; it’s not about women versus men. It’s about love, and acceptance of others. She stands for love, justice and compassion,” she said during a chat with We Got This Covered.

She even told Sci-Fi Now that fans will witness a different side of Wonder Woman in her solo film, since she is “more naive” and “pure” compared to the older version of her in “Batman v Superman.” Gadot added that Diana is “a young idealist who does not yet understand the complexities of life.”

“Wonder Woman” will be released on June 2, while “Justice League” will hit cinemas on Nov. 17.
