Even though the two couples have widely divergent public images, it looks like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are beginning to take fashion tips from Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

Bieber and Gomez recently enjoyed a day off together bouncing on trampolines while wearing matching clothing in Woodland Hills, Calif., according to PerezHilton.com. Gomez wore a torn sweater decorated with red hearts, while the Biebs wore a white T-shirt adorned with a giant pink, running heart. It’s a trick they could have learned from Pattinson and Stewart. Even before Stewart was busted for cheating and their messy breakup, the couple was frequently photographed wearing each other’s clothing while they were out and about. Stewart wasn’t shy about the couple’s constant wardrobe borrowing -- in fact, she appeared proud of it during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.

“I think it’s sexy when chicks wear black slouchy trousers -- fitted, but slouchy,” Stewart said. “I look at designer clothes on Rob, and I’m like, ‘I want those pants, man.’”

Pattinson and Stewart are back together after she was photographed canoodling with “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders, but, while they were apart, Stewart was spotted wearing her then ex-boyfriend’s clothing more than once. The most salacious time came when she was driving Sanders around Los Angeles wearing Pattinson’s prized Los Angeles Dodgers hat.

Refinery29 reported that the reason for this cross-dressing is simple: privacy.

“The reason you see me wearing simple clothes is because I don’t want to give [the paparazzi] anything,” Stewart said. “Literally, I go outside every day in the same thing, so they can’t say anything. So, it seems like I don’t put any thought into it, but I recently put all my stuff in one area and obsessively, OCD-style, arranged all of my stuff.”

The plain clothes were evident when she was flying from Los Angeles to Toronto for a screening of “On the Road.” The same paparazzi Stewart was trying to avoid caught her heading through the airport in an old shirt of Pattinson’s that read “Irie,” which loosely translates to having no worries.

Still, Stewart insisted there is more on her clothing rack than just the same old duds the cameras always catch her in.

“You might be surprised, but I do have more than a white T-shirt and a pair of jeans,” she told Refinery29. “I actually have some cool stuff … and I think I’m going to start using it.”
