“Dancing With The Stars” partners -- and rumored couple -- Peta Murgatroyd and James Maslow of Big Time Rush got the show's first perfect score of the season Monday night. The two performed a contemporary routine from “Frozen” for Disney night, and the judges were blown away by their routine: The panel could not “let it go” without giving them the highest ranking of the night.

Though everyone expected Olympic ice dancers Meryl Davis and Charlie White, who won gold at the Sochi games in Ruissa, to be the top contenders this season, Maslow proved he wasn’t going anywhere after getting four 10s from judges Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and celebrity guest judge Donny Osmond.

It was just last week that the contestants had switched partners, and like most of the dancers, Maslow was happy to be reunited with Murgatroyd. “Cheryl returned him in fine form,” Murgatroyd wrote on her People.com blog. “She cracked the whip on him, which was really good. She was harsh on him and he learned a lot.”

Murgatroyd wrote the blog before their episode aired and said she was anticipating their passionate performance: “The songs we have are really emotional, really get to the characters and the meaning behind everything. I can't wait.”

The judges approved of the dance. Goodman said it could easily “melt the coldest heart, even mine.” Tonioli agreed and called the performance a “contemporary blockbuster” and told Maslow: “You’ve got that ice queen wrapped around your little finger!”

He’s not the only one who thinks that. Many people on Twitter have alleged that Murgatroyd and Maslow’s chemistry indicates they are a secret couple.

Murgatroyd hasn’t denied that the two are close. “You bond with your partner from week one, and to have him gone for a week was really weird. We’ve just got this chemistry that is like no other.”

Peta’s Season 17 dancing partner, Brant Daugherty, addressed the rumor with HollywoodLife.com. “They start a rumor every [season]…Peta and I were dating the whole season,” Brant told HollywoodLife.com. “They always say that. Even if the guy is married, they’re always dating. So maybe, but probably not!”
