Arian Foster Sues Brittany Norwood For Defamation: 'Baby Mama' Allegedly Admitted He Never Pushed For Abortion, Report Says [AUDIO]

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster will reportedly sue his alleged baby mama for defamation, claiming that she falsely accused him of pressuring her to get an abortion.

Foster’s lawsuit asserts that his alleged baby mama, 20-year-old college student Brittany Norwood, engaged in a “calculated scheme” to extort him, TMZ reports. According to legal documents, Foster has text messages and audio recordings to back up his claim.

In an audio recording of an alleged conversation between Foster and Norwood, the Houston woman asserted that she never made several of the claims that were included in her legal filing, TMZ reports. Norwood is suing Foster for child support, damages relating to emotional abuse and a restraining order that would bar the Texans star from pressuring her into getting an abortion.

“I never once said that you told me to get an abortion,” Norwood said, according to TMZ. “I’m not going to sit here and be like okay with—those papers said, ‘harassment,’ like ‘in fear.’ I was never in fear of my life around you. Like, I didn’t f---ing need a restraining order.”

“Like, I’m sorry that those papers … because I was told that they weren’t going to go anywhere,” Norwood added. “He said, you know, this is just to get the ball rolling, and then if we settle out of court, we settle out of court and it never goes public.”

In a statement to TMZ, Norwood claimed that she had no recollection of participating in the conversation. “The truth will always come out. At the end of the day, Arian knows the truth and I know the truth. It’s none of the world’s business anymore,” she said.

According to Foster’s lawsuit, Norwood’s accusations were designed to obtain a financial settlement. “Norwood has engaged in a campaign to impugn the character and reputation of [Arian] with the intent to extort monies from him.” He’s suing the University of Houston student for damages and legal fees.

Neither Foster nor his wife, Romina Reinhart, has released a public statement on the ongoing legal battle.
