Arian Foster had only 49 yards on 15 carries in last weeks game against the Baltimore Ravens. He doesn't intend to have another game like that, according to the Sporting News.

This weeks game against the Tennessee Titans is for first place in the AFC South, and some, The Sporting News says, think Texans Coach Gary Kubiak should start Ben Tate at running back over Foster.

Kubiak intimatated this week that he too was unhappy with Foster's play. The Houston Chronicle reported that he dismissed the idea that Foster's low numbers were because of an especially stout Raven's defense:

There's been some people say they stacked the box on Arian, and I don't see it that way. We had our opportunities to run against seven-man fronts and we didn't run it well and we pride ourselves on running against eight-man fronts. That's why we continue to run the ball. I don't see it that way. Them taking Arian away, I just don't think we played as well as we can play. We'll have to play a hell of a lot better this week because this group we're going to line up against is as good as there is. We got to stay committed to the run and do a better job doing it.

This weeks Texans opponent, the Titans, are a surprising 3-2 on the season, which most thought would be about transitioning from newly signed veteran Matt Hasselbeck to rookie Jake Locker at quarterback.
