Ariana Grande’s older half-brother Frankie James Grande broke his silence Sunday on the Monday bombing in Manchester, England that left 22 people dead and as many as 59 others injured. In a series of Tweets, the 34-year-old multi-hyphenate voiced support for the victims and their families.

“My prayers, thoughts, meditations & strength has been focused on those families and victims affected by the horrific tragedy in Manchester,” Grande wrote Sunday afternoon in a Tweet to his 1.15 million Twitter followers. “I echo my sisters sentiment & say we can't allow hate to propagate hate & fear to propagate fear […] but rather come together & spread a message of love, unity, & [empowerment].”

The YouTube personality and Broadway performer added, “& so I say, as I have before, shine bright, & when evil comes 2drown out your light, 3throw shade over your beautiful soul, shine brighter!” He also shared a link to the JustGiving fundraising campaign by the Manchester Evening News to support families of the bombing victims. It was also shared by Grande's sister Friday and raised 90 percent of its £2 million goal as of Sunday evening.

The 23-year-old pop star is currently planning a star-studded concert for June 4 that will also benefit victims and their families. While she has indefinitely suspended her “Dangerous Woman” world tour, the “Side to Side” singer announced that she’d be returning to the “incredibly brave city” of Manchester for the event slated for next week.

“I’ll be returning to the incredibly brave city of Manchester to spend time with my fans and the have a benefit concert in honor of and to raise money for the victims and their families…I will have details to share with you as soon as everything is confirmed,” she wrote Friday in a page-long post to her Twitter account.

“I have been thinking of my fans, and of you all, non stop over the past week,” she said. “The way you have handled all of this has been more inspiring and made me more proud than you'll ever know. The compassion, kindness, love, strength and oneness that you've shown one another this past week is the exact opposite of the heinous intentions it must take to pull off something as evil as what happened Monday. YOU are the opposite. I am sorry for the pain and fear that you must be feeling and for the trauma that you, too, must be experiencing.”
