Kyle West (Josh Henderson) is getting some professional advice from his head of security, Quinn (Laara Sadiq), after someone broke into his house in last episode of “The Arrangement.”

In a sneak peek from Season 1, episode 8 of “The Arrangement,” Quinn tries to convince Kyle to keep the security system installed in his place.

“Look, I know you don’t want to live in a fortress. Plenty of my clients feel the same way, and I know you want to make your girlfriend happy, which is usually a good way to go,” Quinn tells the actor. “But I’ve re-read those police reports. This stalker of yours is not exactly garden-variety.”

“Your old security system is old but it’s not flimsy,” adds Quinn. “Whoever this person is, they took the trouble to disarm it and didn’t steal anything which tells me the ultimate target was you.”

But because his girlfriend Megan (Christine Evangelista) shuts down the idea of having cameras inside the house, Kyle is now looking for an alternative that will make him and Megan feel safe while they are in his house.

“What do you think would’ve happened if you’d been there [during the break-in]? Or your girlfriend?” Quinn asks. “If you’re not going to install cameras, I think you should consider [having a gun].”

Although Kyle tells Quinn that he had weapons training for his movies, he isn’t sure whether getting a gun is the right idea.

“A gun in the house, loaded with live ammo? I don’t know,” he tells Quinn.

“[It] gives you a fighting chance if this person somehow comes back,” Quinn says. “You don’t have enough protection without it, and I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t tell you that.”

The break-in happened while he and Megan were away for her best friend’s wedding. While it’s unclear whether Kyle has any suspects in the force entry, a lot of fans think that Terrence (Michael Vartan) is the one behind it.

Also in episode 8, as revealed in the synopsis for the hour, Megan starts her new TV project with her childhood idol, Charlotte Banks. Kyle and DeAnn (Lexa Doig) clash over his directing project, and Terence makes Shaun (Carra Patterson) an intriguing offer.

“The Arrangement” Season 1, episode 8, titled “The Betrayal,” airs on Sunday, April 23 at 10 p.m. EDT on E!
